Separation and Purification of Polyphenols from Camellia semiserrata Seed Cake with Macroporous Resin and Their Antimicrobial Activity

摘要(Abstract):

[Objective] To separate and purify polyphenols from Camellia semiserrata seed cake with macroporous resin and to study their antimicrobial activity against anthracnose. [Method] Six macroporous resins were used to separate and purify polyphenols from C. semiserrata seed cake using static and dynamic adsorption. [Result] The desorption rate of X-5 resin was higher than that of other types of macroporous resins. The polyphenols purity reached 44.9% after having been purified by X-5 resin. The polyphenols significantly inhibited the growth of plant pathogenic anthracnose hypha. [Conclusion] X-5 resin is superior to other types of macroporous resins in separating and purifying polyphenols from C. semiserrata seed cake. Polyphenols from C. semiserrata seed cake have significant antimicrobial activity against anthracnose.
